Secured by Design is the official police security initiative owned by Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (PCPI), and products carrying the SBD mark have been independently tested to meet rigorous standards for break-in resistance, hardware durability and locking mechanism integrity.
This accreditation covers our full range of RK Door Systems entrance doors and Reynaers aluminium windows installed with enhanced security hardware. For homeowners, it provides an additional layer of confidence that their new windows and doors meet the highest standards of physical security — a factor that can also positively impact home insurance premiums.
Achieving this standard has been a priority for us over the past twelve months and reflects our commitment to quality, safety and customer peace of mind. All our installations now include SBD-rated hardware as standard at no additional cost.
