Acceptance of Terms
By using the AGG Group website at agg.group or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all visitors, customers and users of our website and services. Allerton Glass & Glazing Ltd (trading as AGG Group) is registered in England and Wales.
Services Description
AGG Group provides the supply and installation of windows, doors, architectural glazing and related products for residential, commercial and new-build development properties. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Supply and installation of aluminium, uPVC and timber windows
- Supply and installation of entrance doors, bi-fold doors, sliding doors and patio doors
- Architectural glazing including curtain walling, structural glass and glass boxes
- Premium and luxury products from specialist suppliers including RK Door Systems and Reynaers
- Glazing solutions for property developers and new-build projects
- Surveying, project management and after-sales support
Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation following a property survey
- Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing
- Prices include VAT at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated
- We reserve the right to amend a quotation if the scope of work changes following the initial survey, or if there are significant changes to material costs beyond our control
- A quotation becomes a binding contract only when accepted in writing by the customer and confirmed by AGG Group
- Any prices shown on our website are indicative only and do not constitute an offer
Payment Terms
- A deposit is required upon acceptance of a quotation to confirm your order. The deposit amount will be specified in your quotation
- The balance of payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the installation unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing
- We accept payment by bank transfer, debit card and credit card
- Finance options may be available subject to status and acceptance by our finance partners. Representative examples will be provided at the time of quotation
- Late payments may incur interest at the rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
Installation and Access
- Installation dates are agreed between AGG Group and the customer and will be confirmed in writing
- The customer must ensure clear and safe access to the installation area, including the removal of furniture, fittings, curtains and blinds in the vicinity of the work
- AGG Group will take reasonable care to minimise disruption and will leave the work area clean and tidy upon completion
- Where access issues or unforeseen structural problems are encountered, we will notify you promptly and discuss any additional costs before proceeding
- Delivery and installation timescales are provided as estimates and may be subject to change due to factors outside our control, including manufacturer lead times and weather conditions
Warranties and Guarantees
- All installations carried out by AGG Group are covered by our workmanship guarantee. Details of the guarantee period will be specified in your contract
- Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, the terms and duration of which vary by product and supplier
- As a FENSA registered installer, all relevant installations are registered with the local authority building control, providing you with a FENSA certificate
- Insurance-backed guarantees may be available and will be detailed in your contract where applicable
- Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, accidental damage, or modifications carried out by third parties without our written consent
Limitation of Liability
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
- Subject to the above, our total liability to you in respect of all losses arising under or in connection with our contract shall not exceed the total amount paid by you under that contract
- We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of opportunity
- We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to adverse weather, supplier delays, industrial disputes or government action
Cancellation
- Where a contract is entered into at your home or away from our business premises, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering the contract under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
- To cancel, you must notify us in writing within the 14-day cooling-off period
- If you have requested that work begins within the cooling-off period, you may be required to pay for any work already carried out or materials already ordered on your behalf
- Cancellations after the 14-day cooling-off period, or where bespoke products have been ordered to your specification, may be subject to cancellation charges to cover costs already incurred
- AGG Group reserves the right to cancel a contract where circumstances beyond our control make it impossible or impractical to fulfil the order, in which case a full refund of any monies paid will be provided
Intellectual Property
All content on the AGG Group website — including text, images, logos, graphics, photography and design — is the property of Allerton Glass & Glazing Ltd or our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or use any content from this website without our prior written consent. Product images and supplier branding (including RK Door Systems and Reynaers) remain the property of their respective owners and are used with permission.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
